This item was delivered without the hook and Amazon had attached the mailing stickers to the box thus covering up the instructions for use. I returned it. It’s a very cheap plastic loom, should be about one dollar.

My twins love to use their weaving kits. I am glad I purchased this. I would give it 5 stars except for the fact they put a long metal rod with a hook on both ends. Its hard for little hands to hold and does not appear too safe.

This loom is pretty basic and does what it’s supposed to. However, the plast is a bit flimsy which makes using cotton loops tricky. Cotton doesn’t stretch as much as the synthetic and by the time all the loops were on the frame was bending and really hard to keep the loops on. If you’re using cotton I’d try to find a sturdier frame with maybe longer teeth. The hook is also a bendable metal which again doesn’t hold up well with the cotton loops. But it’s good and would probably work great with the synthetic loops.

It's good. A nice, simple loom. I had one just like it as a kid and made blankets and things with the squares. I decided I wanted to get back into weaving so I figured I'd get a loom like what I used to have. It's dandy, will do the job nicely.
