These are good enough to throw on IF you use your old parts . Float, float needle, main spring, choke and main jet are fine. You may need to alter the main jet to the proper size by drilling to the correct size, or resuse your old main jet/tube. The main jet and tube on these are one piece, so no changing the jet only. Since Bing made so many different needles , slides, and idle screws , you MAY need to use those older parts as I had to for the best outcome. Some may be able to use these as is, but keep in mind, swapping parts may be a real possibility to make these work well. My slide had become stuck in the old carb, and no soaking in various solvents would get it to free up, so I had to force it out, and in doing so, damaged the carb body at the top screw cap area. This carb allowed me to assemble a nice working carb when all done.

Swapped out my Bing 14mm parts to fit into this 15mm clone. I needed to use the old slide, slide needle, and idle screw. Then the carb worked great on my Puch E50 motor . This carb came out of a Kromag / Puch, and uses a different style slide, needle, and idle screw. I was able to use the new jet, and I drilled it out to the appropriate size for my setup. If this seems like too much trouble, and you won't swap parts, then you may not get a carb that will work on your setup, then again, maybe it will. I tried the new 15mm carb first as it came equipped, but the idle was way too low, and stalled easily. No adjustment of the idle screw made any difference, either with the new screw, or the old screw. The original slide has a different shape contour, and the new slide just wouldn't adjust to a proper air / fuel mixture at idle. Also it would cold start without choking it, so it clearly was getting too much fuel. The only fix was to swap the slide, and needle, and idle screw, then it worked like it always did before. Slides do differ, and your ped may need to have it's original parts installed in order for it to perform properly.

Put this on a 1978 puch newport. carburetor will work, but you have to make it work. The float bowl on mine was machined crooked where the gasket seals so i had to use my old bowl. Also the jet is one piece so you have to swap out the old one or you will never be able to tune it. I also had to turn the idle screw in all the way to get it to idle. The float bowl gasket immidiately swelled up and was ruined by the gas. This is all funny because the same brand rebuild kit actually has better parts in it All in all it did add power, more acceleration. but it wasn't really worth the effort as i had to ruin my throttle cable and the jetting is still off..

It’s cheap, about a third the cost of similar products found elsewhere that being said it’s about a third the quality, poor casting and I had a leaky bowl gasket on mine. But at the end of the day its a carb on the cheap.

I finally got around to putting this on my Puch. It leaks badly and the idle set screw keeps backing off.

This 'carburetor' can only be described as crap. The casting was done incorrectly, causing the idle adjustment screw to be completely ineffective as it completely MISSES the carburetor slide. Don't buy this particular item.

Ich wollte schon immer mal einen dieser Nachbauvergaser testen, hatte aber bis dato entweder zuviel Angst, vorallem aufgrund alteingesessener Meinungen, oder noch nen originalen Bing irgendwo rumfliegen. Nun ist es dann passiert, ich habe mir eine Zündapp 444 ohne Vergaser gekauft.. Zuhause nur noch einen Mikuni liegen gehabt, welcher nicht im Ansatz richtig bedüst, noch richtig dimensioniert ist. Also auf Amazon diesen Vergaser gefunden, und da sowieso mein Gehalt kam direkt bestellt.Als der Vergaser ankam war ich zunächst überrascht, wie wertig sich das Teil anfühlt, und wie schön sich alle Hebel (Choke und Pumpe) betätigen lassen. War jedoch vorsichtig, weil ich erstmal schauen wollte, ob noch überschüssige Spähne in dem Gehäuse rumfliegen. Hab jedoch, außer einem Überguss an einem der Punkten, wo das Alu in die Gussform eingelassen wird, nichts gefunden. Auch der Stift, der den Schwimmer in Position hält, lässt sich leicht entfernen. Dann habe ich den Düsenstock ausgebaut, und siehe da; die originalen Bing. Düsen passen genau. Nach dem Einbau und Testen des Vergasers kann ich diesen ohne Bedenken weiterempfehlen! Vorallem, wenn man auf der Suche nach einem originalen Bing nicht findig wird. Das einzige, was ich jedoch abändern würde, ist die Feder, welche den Gasschieber vorspannt. Diese hat meiner Meinung nach zu viel Spannung. Hier vielleicht einfach eine von einem alten Vergaser nehmen, wenn man noch eine rumfliegen hat.

Super Nachbau - Vergaser. Tolle Qualität, und die Originalen Düsen mit 3,5 mm passen sogar.Billiger kommt man an solche Vergaser nicht mehr ran.....
