The swings that came with our swing set were hard plastic. Bad on the butt and one size did not fit all. I ordered these to replace them. Now no matter what size butt you have they fit. I have a 3-, 7- and 11-year-old. They also help to hold you in the swing.

2 new swing seats for my backyard playground, exactly what I ordered and expected.

Swings are nice, seats and coated chains, but the carabiners have failed. Swings were breaking, (no one was hurt luckily) and I could not determine what the problem was. My swing is custom built using metal pipe. I had HD eye hooks to connect. My advice is to know your hardware and what you’re connecting the carabiner to. After several failures, I went to the hardware store and bought similar items thinking that the ones originally received were low quality metal. I began researching to be sure these wouldn’t also fail and have discovered the issue is the friction on the hooks causing failure. In order to accommodate, I need to replace the standard eye hooks with eye hooks that have bearings and reduce this friction.I don’t recall a picture or some warning on how to attach these carabiners because it seems a no-brainer. But a child falling from these breaking is pretty scary and I’m glad that we’ve only had a couple bruises.

These swings were easy to install and have held up well with regular use by the kids. The hardest part of the install was removing the old swing bolts. Very sturdy hardware.
