DanskinWomen's Essential Bermuda Short

I have 4 pairs of these shorts in black and charcoal gray and wanted to order more. They're great shorts, so I want to have backup stock, since they're bound to change for the worse, and I will definitely be wearing them to shreds. Sure enough, the 2019 version is different than the previous one and it's not as good. It's passable, but the new version is 92% cotton and 8% spandex (previous version was 95% cotton and 5% spandex), and the short has less material overall. The waist and length are both about 3" smaller/shorter, and the shorts are tighter in general. I wear size medium (I'm a sz. 10 with an average waist and athletic thighs), and the old version fit great, but the new version is very snug. I would say the old Medium would fit size 10-12 very well, but the new version is more of a big size 8 or small size 10. The way to tell which version you're getting is to check the fabric content, but also the new logo on the pocket is dark pink not white like the old ones. The shorts being sold here with fulfillment from Amazon.com is the new version. Hope this helps.

The "heather gray" version of the product claims to be 95% cotton and 5% spandex.In actuality it is 55% cotton, 37% polyester, and 8% spandex.I'm allergic to polyester, and the inaccurate description put me at risk.

I love the fabric, cotton. The length is perfect, just above my knee. I was so happy so I decided to order it in pink and turquoise. What a mistake!!!! While the ones in grey color have pockets made of the same fabric, the other shorts (pink & turquoise) have pockets made with mesh. When I walked the pockets slipped out. That looked terrible.

I initially ordered this in a medium and washed it. It did not shrink and is a bit too large. I then ordered a small and it is perfect. It is worth the extra money just for the deeper pockets. I am 5'2, 122 lbs and 66 yrs old. Length comes just above the knee cap and it is very comfortable.

Love these shorts. Very soft fabric, very comfortable. Originally ordered Large size but they were too big so returned for a medium. I have a big waist and small hips so I toggle between a 10 and a 12. Often a 12 is too baggy and a 10 is too tight around my middle. These have plenty of stretch so if you have a small waist there's a drawstring to cinch them in.

I'm an apple shape and normally wear 14/16. I ordered XL and they fit well. They have an elastic waist with a drawstring to adjust them. I really like the feel of the fabric which has a really smooth texture for a knit. Smooth textures don't attract dog fur (have 2 dogs) the way a looser knit would. The color is a medium/dark grey. They have a seem pocket on each side. I'm 5'2" and the length hits me right above the knee. These are extremely comfortable and don't seem to wrinkle easily. I would definitely order more and would recommend. Bottom line: pros: smooth fabric, comfortable fit, pockets. cons: a little pricey, not crazy about the shoe-string type tie at waist.

It was comfortable, and it fit, but OMG, the legs were incredibly wide! It looked like I was wearing a skirt, when I tried it on. Made me look even wider than I already am. I sent them back

I got these on a bit of a whim, needing more workout shorts but tired of all bike shorts all the time. I'm pleased enough that I'll probably pick up another pair.Good length - not down to the knees, but not so high the thighs chafe. Good fabric thickness - thin enough to stay fairly cool while exercising in the hot, humid summer in Houston, but thick enough to not show off the color of my undies. It is a bit thicker and warmer than my bike shorts, but not so much as regular sweatpant material would be.The dropped-look wide waistband is flattering, and there's a drawstring about an inch down that can be tied if you're doing something extra-energetic and are afraid the shorts might slip or be pulled down. They're a little snug on the top, but not so much as bike shorts. The bottoms are a little loose, but not so much that they ride up much, if at all.My only complaint on these is that the slash pockets gape pretty badly due to their positioning. But hey, at least they have pockets, even if they're not super-deep! Pockets are a rare bonus in womens' bottoms, particularly in activewear.

I like these shorts. They are different than what I usually choose but that's ok. They are a bit longer than what I maybe would have liked but I can get used to that. (I'm not tall so that happens sometimes.) I ordered a size bigger than I normally wear so I'd be safe but I don't think I would have had too. With casual shorts like these being a bit big isn't a terrible thing. They seem of good quality. Not really thick or thin material. Just right for hot summer days.

These are well made and the quality is good. These are just t-shirt material and not heavy cotton. I ordered navy, so not see thru, but I would think the lighter colors will be a bit transparent. You can see your hand through them if you shine a light. I love the ones I ordered. They have a high waist and are just above my knee for length. They are very comfortable and would recommend buying

Bermuda Shorts (3xl) for the "generously proportioned" woman - great fit! I'm 5'5", and these reach just to the top of the kneecap. They are very comfortable, so cool - & look great. They are 92% cotton - lovely! Made in China ): - *but* these do not disappoint - they are a "true size", too. I would reorder with confidence.

Looser fit than I expected but that's ok. Size down if you're looking for a bit more fitted through the thigh and bum. Also the logo is quite large on the left hip/thigh area and I wish it was not visible. Quite a big drawstring too. And has one slit pocket on back. Images should have showed more details but the product washes really well and is super comfy. Just not exactly what I expected.

I needed something comfortable and easy to keep. these are just what I wanted. The style is loose and carefree and for wearing mostly at home in quarantine, they did what I wanted. I may order another pair next year. The short weather may be over for this year now.
