I wear a lot of stretch type pants, with belts and with strings, jogger type, which tend to slip down. I keep on tightening the belts at times and it was very uncomfortable now I wear the suspenders and these are great. Pants hang perfect and stay up and overall very comfortable. Airport friendly is correct! 4 different airports on my trip and there were no problems. Even entering the social security office was a breeze, not a peep from their metal detector. And they work just fine as expected, material is strong and elastic. I can leave a little slack (for sitting) and not have to tighten it to wedgy tightness.
