This came in the hottest part of summer packaged with a cold pack not melted at all.Cadbury is a premium, high quality brand of chocolate. They do have chocolate with add ins like fruit or nuts, but I prefer the pure chocolate. This is a rich, creamy, absolutely perfect chocolate.If you want to make hot cocoa with milk and a chocolate bar, Cadbury is one of the best brands to do it with. Bring 8-10 ounces of milk to the point of steaming, not yet a boil, and throw in half of one of these bars. Let the chocolate melt and the milk come just to the point of a rolling boil. You don’t want to scald the milk. Cadbury is great for this because it melts evenly and is a quality chocolate. Mediocre chocolate just won’t taste right.

The flavor is just like Cadbury chocolate that you know (think chocolate Easter bunnies) but the texture is chalky and drier. I have heard that the British Cadbury chocolate is formulated differently (possibly fresh UK dairy milk vs powdered milk for exports maybe?). After eating a Cadbury chocolate bar bought in England and then eating these (well…not ALL of them) I can confirm the texture is not the same. Anyway, better than a lot of chocolate bars.
