Everyday, rough use; outdoors.Not so good for: carrying documents, paper stuff.The fabric is thick and a little on the rough side of the spectrum, which gives the bag a durable feel. I have carried several kilos of stuff and the strap never disappointed, so feel free to use this for outdoors and heavy use. The zippers are even tougher, and they don't feel cheap, which is usually the problem with bags at this price point. The overall finish of the bag makes you think of a hand-made product, and I really enjoy that. Plus, it actually has my name carved in the back!The front pocket is spacious: you can fit a paper notebook (standard university size) or a tablet in there. Be wary of keeping stuff on the side pockets, though, as they don't seal perfectly: a USB drive, a standalone key or SD cards could easily slip away in a rush, especially if you start running or somehow flip over the bag. Better keep these things in the smaller pocket within the main pocket (which doesn't appear on the pictures: surprise!).If you're not using the insert, the main pocket can hold a 15.6" laptop (yes, 15.6": I was impressed), water bottle and several books, so it's great for everyday use. I do not recommend carrying sheets of paper, prints or paperback books without a proper cover, though: the bag tends to crumble inwards and it will generally mess up any fragile, sheet-like stuff you put inside.While the bag is great, the removable insert is just 'meh'. It fits way too tightly inside the bag, which makes me think they just picked up an insert to make it a 'camera bag' without even considering space and usability. The dividers are completely useless and don't have enough velcro to stay in place. Some credit is due to the thickness of the insert, which really looks shock-absorbing. However, when it's in place, there's no room for anything else on the main pocket of the bag, so if I want to carry a water bottle or an extra shirt, I have to maneuver around. Carrying my laptop plus the camera gear is out of the question: there's not enough space, but that's alright, as I wasn't expecting it to do it. Unfortunately the insert doesn't have a lid, so while it may protect from shocks coming below the bag, it will not protect your gear from shocks coming above it — again, I'm thinking of the odd scenario of flipping over the bag.I would definitely recommend, for the next iteration of this bag, a handle. Since the bag withstands rough use you're inclined to carry more stuff, bringing its weight up and making it uncomfortable to carry over a single shoulder for long periods of time. A (sturdy, rough!) handle would solve this and make it even more versatile — perhaps even as a gym bag!Overall it's a great deal for the money, and I'm happy with it. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Love this bag! *by J***H on Reviewed in the United States on September 19, 2018* The blue is a bit darker than the pictures look, but I think that made it even better. I am totally happy with it. I found a small organizer here on amazon that fit the front zipper pocket like it was made for it. Fits exactly and holds all my camera gadgets and gear. The main section fit my camera very well, even with the lens and hood attached. I did have to take out the dividers that were included because they just won't stay in place. They flop around and don't have good enough Velcro to grab. I keep my lenses in padded drawstring bags so It wasn't a big deal to me.
