Glad I Got These
These were a little more costly than the slip-ons I usually get, but those always wore out after a couple years. So I looked for another brand on Amazon, found these, and gave them a try. I'm very glad I did. They are very high quality, quite comfortable, and easy and quick to slip on and off. Based on the quality, I expect them to last many years. I normally wear a size 11D (regular width) and that size fit perfectly, so at least for me, I would say they are true-to-size.UPDATE: I've been wearing these for several weeks now, and am so happy with them. They fit perfectly and really look nice, so much better than the brand I previously wore. Since the original review, we've had a few inches of snow, and they have performed as expected. I had kept the old pair around as a backup, or just in case there were problems with these new ones. However that old pair just went in the trash.

Heel slippage
I really want to love these boots. They look great, feel terrific where they fit right, and are doing a great job of keeping my feet warm and dry in a rainy winter. I do think ankle height was a poor choice for a winter boot, but that was my mistake.Unfortunately, the size 11 just doesn’t fit my heels and ankles right. The heels slip as I walk, causing painful chafing on the back of my foot. I’ve had heel slippage in new shoes before and it usually resolves itself after a short break in period, but it’s been almost two weeks now and the pain is so bad that I’m about to give up on these and order something else.I’m trying heel pads as a last ditch effort to make these work for me, but they still don’t fit the back of my feet properly. I feel like I’m never going to be entirely happy with these boots.

Broke in badly
These felt ok at first, albeit too loose in the heel (as others have mentioned). Since new shoes often have minor issues like that, I wasn't too concerned, assuming they'd break in after a few wearings and fit even better, as is usually the case. Unfortunately, just the opposite happened. At first, I could take my two mile dog walks in them without issue. I thought they would be perfect for this hard winter. But after a few days, they started to hurt my little toes, which began to get more painful by the day. I finally had to abandon wearing them. It was as though the toe box had tightened instead of loosening, although that doesn't seem likely. It could be that my feet swelled, but they're fine in my other shoes, including my other Propets (which are wonderfully comfortable).Judging by the reviews, other people don't have problems with these, so maybe it's something I'm doing wrong. I don't know, but I've never had an experience like this with any other shoes. So I'm passing it along for whatever it's worth.

Order Larger Than Normal Size
Normally wear a size 11D so that is what I ordered. With normal weight socks I could barely get them zipped up and they pinched my feet and toes. With heavy winter socks I could barely get my foot in them and no way could they be zipped up. I returned them and ordered a size 12 EEE. With normal weight socks they were a bit loose but not too bad. With heavy winter socks they fit well. Other than the size I am quite pleased with these boots.

Surprisingly warm
Moderate arch support in a very nice, water proof winter slip on. Very warm for such a small boot. I have been wearing them in muddy weather on job sight as we do light construction and yard tasks and i find them comfortable and sturdy. Would recommend. ( I have high arches but these are pretty good, not perfect but considering they are slip ons they are ok)
