Very good
I have recently moved to an old house that is very damp. When I mooted buying these to my partner he said they were, in his experience, no good. I bought several anyway - and they certainly work - the moisture is drawn in to them readily and in one room the condensation has completely gone. I have put them away for the summer but I will get them out again in the autumn.

NOPE! Gross, bulky, bugs.
I had previously used disposable dehumidifiers but bought this to try and be a bit more eco friendly! It was way more bulky than expected, so a bit of an eyesore, but it seemed to start working straight away so I was happy to give it a try. However it definitely didn’t last as long as advertised. It says one tab lasts up to 3 months but I’ve got through two tabs in 9 weeks. It also wasn’t super easy to pour away - the clips were a bit fiddly and the blue goo congealed at the bottom so it didn’t all pour away and always looked gross. The tab fell off before it was finished too and ended up dripping out the sides and making a mess. The final reason I wasn’t happy was the deal breaker! Earlier today I went to change the tab. It made a right mess (as above) so I cleaned it up and left it on the side in the bathroom next to the window, expecting to come back and put a new tab in later on. Now I don’t know what is in that congealed blue goo, but I came back a few hours later to find it COVERED IN HUNDREDS OF TINY BUGS CRAWLING ALL OVER IT. I’m not even exaggerating. I wish I’d taken a photo to post but at the time my priority was getting the thing out of the house as quickly as possible. SO GROSS. So I wont be using my final tab, and I won’t be buying another one thank you!!I would’ve given it 3 stars before the bug incident - it was fine, but not great. I prefer the disposable ones (they are smaller, easier to hide out of the way, last longer, don’t get blue goo everywhere, and so far, don’t attract any bugs!)

Well, useless to be honest. It clearly takes moisture out of the air, but in no way does it stop condensation on the Windows.

Amazing in my en-suite with no windows!
I bought this because my en-suite bathroom doesn't have its own window for ventilation, and I don't want mould to start growing from the humidity caused by having a shower. It has collected so much moisture on the first day and continues to each time I shower.I would definitely recommend for a bathroom where ventilation could be an issue.

Love it.
Started using the rock crystal type but wanted something that looked a bit classier. This fits the bill. I have them in all the rooms and they work a treat. Both my son and myself suffer allergies and these do not cause any problems. Even have one in the caravan. Not being electrically operated it’s very economical. So easy to use. Pop in a block, when spent empty the liquid and put in a new block. Simples!!

Scrub you home's air for a modest price.
Excellent and modest method of 'scrubbing' the air in one's home. Please note that it will only cover a limited area. I use two in my living room - one at the front and another at the rear. Far, far cheaper than the Dyson equivalent but without the breeze...

This really works!
It is a relatively small case and it can be placed everywhere. I keep it on the bedside table and it really does its job. Every now and then you need to empty the water collected inside and depending on the amount of humidity also replace the tablet. My first tablet has gone in only one month but now I can really feel the difference in my room. I think it really worth to try this before moving on to more expensive solutions.

highly recommend
After using it for just 4 days I'm amazed at how much water it has collected. Easy to set up then just leave to get on with its job. No more condensation on the windows or a horrible damp smell.
