I bought the TOSY Flying Ring for my 7-year-old daughter, and it’s been a huge hit with my older son too. From the moment we switched it on, she didn’t want to put it down. The LED lights are incredibly bright and look brilliant in the evening, making it much more exciting than a bog standard frisbee. Despite having the electronics inside, it’s very lightweight and soft enough that I don’t worry about it hurting little hands if a catch is missed. It flies surprisingly well once you get the hang of throwing it and has held up well after plenty of use in the garden and at the park. The battery life has also been better than I expected. If I had one small criticism, it’s that it works best in big open spaces, so it’s not really suited to a small garden. But that’s true of most flying discs really. Overall, it’s a well-made, high-quality toy that’s genuinely different from the usual outdoor games. If you’re looking for something to encourage children to get outside and be active, I’d highly recommend it, especially in this current nice weather.
