Pixel 2 excels!!!
I received the Pixel 2 (Just Black - 64 GB) well on time and have been using it for 2 weeks now.The phone speaks for itself and is already proven to be a top of the line smartphone. But just to mention some pros and cons from my perspective:Pros- The main USP of this phone is the pure Android experience which is so fluid to use. It also remains up to date on the latest available version of Android. The phone is always a breeze to use.- Another USP of this phone is the great camera which gives you amazing photos with high detail and dynamic range thanks to HDR+. Also stabilization using OIS results in smooth videos and blur free photos.- Now with the phone receiving Android Oreo 8.1 update, it has become even better. Things like AR stickers are so much fun to use. The Pixel Visual Core SoC has also been enabled, allowing third party apps to use HDR+ for processing photos. The Visual Core also adds more machine learning capabilities to keep making the phone smarter day by day.- Unlimited storage for photos (at least till 2020)- Rich sounding front facing stereo speakers for which one can pardon the big bezels- Waterproof with IP67 rating (good enough for splashes and dunks up to 1 meter depth for 30 minutes)- One handed use- Fast charging using the provided power adapter- 2 years warrantyCons- Big bezels which is already outdated on most flagships- No headphone jack. USB C to 3.5 mm adapter is provided but carrying it around everywhere is not always feasible- Though you get unlimited online storage for Photos and Videos, the internal storage is limited to 64 GB or 128 GB based on which you buy. So you can't store tons of WhatsApp media and other such data. Long term users should probably go for the 128 GB version. An expandable storage would have been nice.Apart from the above pros and cons, here are few other mentions:- The overall design is good especially the back which has a dual finish- The buttons including the fingerprint scanner are tactile and intuitively placed. The fingerprint scanner is fast to unlock.- The battery is good for a full day of medium use- Always on display is a nice touch and is useful to see the time and any notifications by just lifting the phone or double tapping it.- Active edge squeeze is a nice fancy addition to launch Google Assistant but not something you would use much. Its currently useful when you need to launch Assistant half a second faster than long pressing the on screen Home button. It would be more useful if it can be programmed to launch other apps or snap photos or change the sound profile. You get the gist.To sum it up, the Pixel 2 is a great flagship all rounder which functions the way a smartphone was meant to and comes with some class leading features backed by a great brand. With more budget the Pixel 2 XL is probably the better phone to own. But who's complaining :)

Worst phone and worst brand to trust
Bought this phone as an anniversary gift. One week in and it started giving issues with the speaker and got heated up after just 20 mins of video on YouTube. Didn't expect this quality from Google. They boost of a lot of innovation and all they should first look into the basic functionalities. I called the service centre they picked up the phone from my home. Since then all I get is regular email that the mobile is under advanced diagnosis and with every passing day the expected date of delivery shifts by a day. But I was told by the service team that the phone would be returned in 7 working days time. It's been 14 day now. I have been escalating it at the mentioned email id and wrote about my entire ordeal on Twitter tagging even Mr. Sundar Pichai. Guess what on no use. Would never recommend or suggest any product from Google. I have attached just one screenshot from the service tracking site as I can't upload more than 1.

Best phone in 2022
I am amazed, this is for 2022,flagship waterproof ipx7(won't find in any mid range device, dual front firing speakers and good durability, camera, itna kuch, fine ill write a few points.1. Best camera(with ois, midrangers don't have ois), google used the same sensor all the way till pixel 5a and beyond the ai is super optimised for it(use google photos mod for latest features )2. android 13 official custom roms are out3. Processor, sd835 is more than what most mid rangers of 6x or 7x series and even if the gap is closed the midrange phones are generally slowed down and lack features to force people into buying flagships4. Battery life is decent, I keep watching videos all day and it mosly makes it. Using the right custom rom, and also making sure i care for the battery by carrying a power bank.5. I actually love the small form factor and the reachebility on the beautiful display7. Display (kuch jyada hi better hai, used har mid range 25k including Samsung)8. Rear finger print reader with gestures and lots of pixel excusive features like unlimited storage, active edge etc etcsab point likhna nahi hota, melody khao khud Jan jao.

February update brought cons else perfect device.
Nice phone.Pro- 1) Amazing camera. 2) Monthly security patches/updates.Cons - After February patch 1) Heats a lot, especially with 10 minutes of camera use. And camera app have crashed twice. 2) Battery life reduced 3) Micro focus problem ie can't focus if subject's closer than 20cms.Let's hope that it would be fixed in April update as March patch hasn't fixed it.
