High quality water filter!. I have been using this brand of filter for years and they work very well and hold up great. The design allows particles to be trapped while still allowing good water flow through them. I changed over from the 25 micron to this 5 micron to get better filtration. It states the water flow is the same, 20 gpm. Once I replace my old 25 micron filter, I'll see if the flow rate remains the same or not with the micron filtration difference. It will be an interesting comparison and I'll see if I can update this review after a few months of use.

We pump our water from Kootenay Lake near Nelson, BC and depend on these filters to remove the fine sediment, especially during spring runoff. Our local stores don't carry them any more but Amazon came through in usual quick fashion.
