The Machine is mostly helpful for the Upper management settings the strategy. Though for every one there are a lots of great insights. Most of the conclusion are well illustrated with stats. Appreciation for the authors obvious..

The first edition (1998) was very good but it's disappointing to see the latest revision of 2007 has nothing new. Even the trends and graphs are old. Not sure what was the need of printing a new book.
