The Grid helps to cut down light on the AD200.
I wanted the gird alone for my AD200. But the gels also come with it so I took it. it is ok nothing G8 and gives you some option of using the red and green gels to light up the background or such thing.It is not a must have as it is only for a speed light and the same can be achieved with a soft box with a grid as well. But to use this you need to buy the holder which costs about 200-300 bucks.There is no box or anything it some wrapped in plastic. But then there are not made of glass so it is not a big deal.
