YUZUKI Vernier Caliper 150mm with Fine Adjustment – Perfect for Accurate Measurements

It feels solid and sturdy in the hand. Came with a good plastic case. Has a serial number engraved on the main scale. The prongs did not have any play. The moving prongs and vernier scale are made from one mould - i.e. the vernier scale is not screwed on the prongs with screws like some of the other chinese and Indian made verniers. Movement of prongs was smooth - I enhanced it with a drop of silicon oil. The edges of the smaller internal measuring prongs taper to a fine sharp point, which is good. The main scale & vernier scale is engraved in mm & inches. Accuracy of 20 microns is very good offering - tested by measuring plastic bag thickness. But the fine adjustment screw felt a little tricky. It also has a depth gauge which I have not yet used. Appears to be made of tool grade stainless steel (magnetic and hard). Should last a lifetime ! Reviews could be misleading sometimes. I purchased it after reading almost all the reviews and that's what I usually do every time I purchase anything online. I liked these callipers however I found something that I thought I should share with you all. Its range is not 150mm as claimed. The maximum range is 141.9mm only. Though it reads 150mm but you will be able to measure lengths up to 141.9mm only. I am still ok with that. Also, the markings on the main scale and vernier scale are not engraved but simply written. So you may expect wear and tear on both the scales. The material looks like stainless steel and overall quality is great so is its accuracy. I would suggest to go for an analog calliper instead of digital callipers as they are more accurate and can not malfunction due to electronic failure ( low battery etc). OVERALL I AM HAPPY WITH IT AND HAVE DECIDED TO KEEP IT.

Product is ok, holding precision comparable to mitutoyo or insize. But carrier box is not good, it get damaged due to upper jaw hitting sides of the box. There is no foam support inside box to secure vernier caliper.

In this price quality is superb, The jaws are very thick, accurate and value for money. Purchased second time as its the best quality and dark and clear reading.

I like the product for overall quality, which is good. The laser markings are not very sharp.

1. Purely analog, no stupid digital display. So, I do not have to worry about battery. 2. No zero error. 3. Sturdy and heavy 4. Comes in its own case.

This vernier is good but does not meet seller specifications. Negative Points: 1) as specified it cannot measure 150mm dimensions. Only 137mm is measurable using this vernier. See attached video. 2) Vernier is not made up of stainless steel. STAINLESS STEEL never attracts towards 🧲. But this vernier attracts towards magnet. See attached video for clarification. Positive points: 1) Accuracy is good. 2) looks steardy. 3) finishing is good.
