The Lemon Tree

Read it in one sitting and I’ve revisited it multiple times already. The writing manages to paint a picture of a picturesque small town growing into a bigger city ridden with graffiti and trash while an innocent child simultaneously grows into a woman aware of the hurt and joy that life holds. Beautiful, nostalgic, and touching!

It can be consumed in one sitting, but you'll be thinking about the writings long after you've finished the book. Must read for any writing enthusiast.

I ordered this book, read it, and immediately ordered two more books. The writing is so beautiful and pulls at the heart strings. Absolutely loved it!

The Author really has a quality understanding of what it means to grow up in a small town where everyone knows each other. The imagery that she uses it’s exquisite. You won’t regret buying this. I hope to see more from her

I usually dont read poetry, and NEVER read works by women poets because I feel that I could never fully understand the female experience of life, but something about this collection made me rethink my position on lady writers.
