Helpful for people suffering from constipation
Take 2 full spoon of slippery elm powder. Add it to 300ml water. Boil it for 5 mins. Let it drop to warm temperature. Drink this 15-20 mins before any meal just once a day.(You can even add a spoon of haritaki or amla powder to the boiling water.)This is my 2nd Now Foods slippery elm powder bottle. I tried it first time when my sibling brought it. Now I got one.Tried many methods but it works only before taking any meal.

Doesnt turn slimy even after 3 spoons in hot boiling water!
This seems to be totally opposite of what I have seen slippery elm does! The Now Foods Slippery Elm powder doesn't even turn slimy or mucousy. I saw some bad reviews and should have believed them. Made a mistake ordering this. I put 2 spoons, 3 spoons even in hot boiling water while continuously stirring it. I let it cool down after that. No matter what I do, it never turns slimy like it is supposed to. I am going to look for some other brand.

Cheaper products available that are just as equally effective
Just use isabgol which is much cheaper and does everything that slippery elm does. While this is effective in helping with symptoms of acid reflux, IBS and constipation (shared with different people who all reported relief in symptoms), so is isabgol which is way cheaper than this. Just get isabgol and save a lot of money
