To my embarrassment, the fault was mine and was due to how I inserted the reader. My thanks to the shipper for their prompt responses to my emails and for their suggestions, which included instructions on how to insert the reader. I tested all of them with the same high speed SD card.This one and the Transcend are falsely advertised. They do not support USB 3 transfer rates. They work on USB 3 ports but only at USB 2 transfer rates.
