All parts needed to complete the rebuild
Used this to rebuild the pump on my 340 Monsoon in my Wakesetter and other than being a PITA to get to the pump and get it off the kit had everything needed for the rebuild and fixed my leak. Once I had it apart I found the old bearing were in really bad shape. Used a gear puller to pull them off and the new ones went on with a socket and a few whacks.

If you have an older boat you probably need a rebuild. The two sealed bearing are probably bad.
Kit is for crank pulley or belt driven raw water pumps on most inboard direct drive, and v-drive marine engines. I have OEM indmar 320LCR on an 2008 malibu v-drive boat. My cover is marked "Indmar" part # but it is a Johnson made pump. My OEM raw water pump seemed fine but since I had it off I decided to rebuild it with this kit. Most people just replace the rubber impeller but beware, you may need to rebuild your pump with this kit because your two bearings are rough and or rusted. Kit comes with everything shown in ad photo but also the new kit has a thin copper thrust washer that is not in ad photo. My pump requires this thrust washer.I pulled the impeller free of shaft with needle nose pliers. Measure the distance from the shaft base to the bottom of the pump housing with a caliper, or other fine measuring tool. Mine was 7/8" gap. I borrowed a small 2/3 jaw puller from auto parts store to press the the pump shaft out of the back of the pump housing.

It works !!! No leaks !!!
2006 Moomba Outback V with Indmar 350 (5.7l) Carbureted V8.Old pump was leaking on crankshaft Engine side.Label on pump is Indmar 685001. Here are a few key things to know. You will need a vise to mount the pump and knock out the splined shaft. Then you can remove the crank side seal with a pick. Next you will need a puller to remove the 2 sealed bearings from the shaft. I hammered the bearings in with a mallet and wood block but a press is ideal. Takes less than an hour to rebuild. Note that there are no retainer rings in the model I rebuilt that this kit is designed for.

Bad bearings
Both bearings were bad. They're stamped with the correct number (6203-2RS), but the IDs are too large and they slide freely on the shaft. Had to reinstall the old bearings to get through the day, will order new OEM bearings (SKF 6203-2RSH).

Gasket was less than adequate
The parts in this kit appear to be of decent quality, everything worked when first installed for a couple hours. The white gasket material however is not a strong as OEM Johnson gasket and blew out. This caused water to shoot all over my engine compartment between the housing and cover plate. Luckily I was able to smash what remained of the gasket back where it is supposed to be so I could make it back to the dock, but is soaked the inside of the boat. This is a value, but it's worth buying an OEM gasket elsewhere so you don't have this flimsy one fail on you.
