Van Aken Protolina - Klean Klay Alternative - (Medium) 24lb Case

I'm glad Van Aken has picked up the torch where Klean Klay left off. There are some people who love harder clays like Monster Clay and get incredible results. I'm not set up to soften clay and to heat it every time I want to manipulate it. The Medium version of Klean Klay allows me to set up a male sized head on a female sized foam armature relatively quickly, and I can do a decent human likeness fairly quickly. It smoothes with alcohol (but not absolutely perfectly under my fingers), but if you set up lighting properly, after a while you get a feel and can simply smooth with your fingertips and run your fingers over spots through pressing and wiping in various directions.
