Great product, very accommodative, professional seller
After reading many positive reviews, I bought this product from this seller, for our child's school project. First of all, I should say that this product came with wonderful documentation and some extra components too. However. to our dismay , we found that we couldn't get it to work. We had a suspicion that one of the components didn't work properly. I called the mobile number given in the documentation and to my pleasant surprise, the seller (OiDeal) responded well and we had some exchanges on what we tried and what didn't work. She couriered a compliment working component set just to ensure we were able to successfully demonstrate a working model. Our child is now very happy being able to demonstrate a working, nice model. We are very happy with the product, its building quality and the documentation. And more happy with the seller's professionalism. Will definitely choose this seller for any similar product.Thank you.

An absolute useless waste of time
The product does not work after consulting with a expert I was informed that the device is faulty and the project will never work as the design is completely wrong . I had to spend more money than what I paid to buy this item to make it work and I also had to add many more items to the project that were bought locally by me . The contact numbers provided with the project are not at all helpful .

A high school project made in someone's home
Firstly - the product works. Right Instructions, Right components, properly turned copper wire - an extra transistor, resistor, LED etc. Therefore, a recommended buy. But know that this is not a Tesla Coil - but an oscillator circuit to demonstrate the Tesla Effect. Now hold on ... Before you go back to searching other options, know that almost ALL options available are the same oscillator circuit demonstrating the Tesla effect. And this one works as I have seen by myself.A true Tesla coil cannot use transistors because Tesla made his invention in 1891 while the transistor was invented around 1950s. Even the Thermionic diode was first made in 1907. An original Tesla coil will need to be tuned to give optimal performance - but in this circuit, a transistor does the auto-tuning, thereby reducing the workload. This is good for school children.I wanted my help my son with a Tesla Coil and instead of buying the components separately, I chose to buy this kit. Everything claimed in the ad is possible. But being home-made there could be some credence to the negative claims of some reviews. The Manual is a simple computer printout and box etc simple with computer printed covers etc. The breadboard is a commonly available 170 points breadboard - cut into two parts and one part supplied with this kit.It can light up an 8W CFL lamp (if that's what you want to confirm) and is an unprofessionally made kit where you just follow instructions and connect to the breadboard and it starts working. It is not an educational toy as the child hardly needs to do anything other than connect some cables and play. I had to unwind the cables and re-fit everything in a different format to include the "education" part.Depending on what the end purpose is - I would recommend this as a 'buy'. Buying components and making this would be a lot cheaper if you have the time and inclination to search each component. I felt the kit that was working and available so readily and shipped so quickly was a better option to saving a couple of hundred bucks. C'mon - someone is making this, testing this, printing a box, instructions etc etc and then shipping. I'd say 450 is an okay amount to charge.

Awesome Tesla power transmission project... It works
Really this works and just assembled in 15min. Tested and it works fine. Awesome science Tesla project for kids and school students. A must product for science students. Good packing, nicely wound coil on PVC pipe, clear written manual and circuit diagram, bread board and plug and play type sockets. Worth the price. I am trying to enhance into a powerful one. Overall good scientific project on wireless power transmission. Recommend for students
