A must read if you are interested in SPC
This is one of the best text books on th subject. It explains the concepts very nicely and there are several examples to help the reader understand the principles. It is useful for students as well as practitioners interested to learn about the subject.

Excellent book
I am getting an undergrad in stats and have found that most of the stats courses offered through the math department at my university are geared either towards mathematicians (heavy on the proofs) or engineers/scientists with very little emphasis given to applying stats to business problems. On the other hand the applied stats courses offered through the business school are not nearly adequate in developing the underlying theory of either probability or statistical inference. This is an excellent book that bridges the space between business applications and mathematical statistics. I would highly recommend it to someone coming from either end of the spectrum (math vs. business).

Solid textbook. Solid formatting.
Good quality statistics textbook, but I ended up using it primarily for the chapter problems (required by my course) and didn't do much actual reading of the textbook and was still successful in learning the material... likely due to the format of the class/ how my instructor presented the material.Equations and concepts were easy to find (straightforward formatting of the content) and I have no doubt that I could have learned solely from the book had I chosen to do so. Can definitely see myself referring back to this book for statistics/ quality "refreshers" in the future!
