Installation was surprisingly simple, and the fit was customized exactly to my window size. They block out 100% of the light, which is perfect for my bedroom . These shades look sleek, function beautifully, and are worth every penny.

The product seems to be of high-quality, the motor is very quiet and smooth. But I guess it leaves a small gap left and right and let's light through. Customer service was extremely helpful and offered to replace it with a slightly wider version and two side channels to block the light from coming through. I'm excited to receive it and if it is truly blackout after I installed it, I am happy to give it a five star review.

These smart shades are fantastic. If you're considering buying smart shades, this is the one you want. My bathroom is dark now you cannot see. I wanted this because the window is east facing and sun pours in bright and early, interrupting the blackout curtains in my bedroom. Once the shade was installed, no light got through and the temperature in there has been greatly reduced.The shades open and close smoothly and quiety. Measure distances/size carefully before you order. I measured the size when placing the order, marked it step by step with the customer service, and then placed the order. I received it and installed it. The size was just right, without much error.
