Sonoma Clear 22 Oz. Unbreakable Bpa-free Tritan Plastic Wine Glasses (Each)

I've been using these wine glasses for a couple of months, now. I love the large size as it feels good in my hands and you can fill it up as little or as much as you want, according to your mood. I have had no issues with any sharp edges on the rim, as other reviewers have reported. The rim does look like expensive cut glass, so it's possible that some may be sharp. The plastic is extremely clear and looks exactly like glass except for the tiny mold lines on each side. Personally, I think the molded nature of these glasses makes the stem more resistant to breakage as a glued one would be. Although the stem is narrow and elegant, it only wobbles if it is filled very full and the substantial foot of the goblet makes it quite stable. I only hand wash mine, so they have remained clear through all my uses and washes. I would recommend these goblets for situations requiring something unbreakable, poolside, etc. I am considering buying more of these, myself, as I use them for everyday, not just poolside.

The tritan plastic is great. Unbreakable & stays clear. I use both the 12 oz white wine and the 20 oz red wine glasses. Yes there have been some comments that the stem is too wobbly. It is just slightly flexible but works fine.There are also comments about the sharp drinking edge and this is a concern but easily repairable. Only the inside edge is a problem. Put some masking tape around the outside to protect from scratches. Take a 1" x 2" piece of 150 grit sandpaper and with your thumb sand down the inside sharp edge only. Then take a 1" x 2" piece of 400 wet dry and polish the inside edge. Makes a world of difference on sensitive lips!! Just love these glasses now. Just fill with your favorite wine and enjoy without the risk of broken glass around the pool, on the tile deck, etc..Purchased mine from "Clearly Acrylic" who was a wonderful, prompt supplier that responded quickly to email questions with helpful responses. Recommend highly purchasing from them.

Very attractive non-breakable wine glasses. Prior reviews led me to believe these were almost indistinguishable from glass. They are indeed clear, wash beautifully and seem sturdy. The light weight and thickness of the rim tmake them less like glass. Maybeif the rim were rounded rather than straight-cut, they would feel smoother to lips or tongue. That said, they don't break, and that is what I was looking for!

It really is unbreakable, it holds a lot of wine, and it looks great. My wife uses this product when she takes the occasional hot bubble-bath with a glass of wine and a book. She says it helps with the "re centering process". :) I think it's definitely worth purchasing for outdoor use, around pools, or in bath tubs for safety reasons. I recommend this product.

The good news is that it does indeed look like a nice, proper wine glass. The rim could be more rounded and the seam could be even less visible, but those are minor. So pretty much 5 stars for looks.The reason I’m giving this 3 stars and considering returning it is that wine doesn’t taste as good in it. I couldn’t believe it but we put the same wine in this and our glass glasses and there was a consistent difference, even after 2 washes in the dishwasher. And the difference even persisted after pouring the wine into a glass glass! We tried this with two different red wines, same thing. It’s not something you can tell if you don’t compare to a normal glass, but it’s very noticeable when you do.I really, really wanted this to work, so that makes me sad.

The glasses don't break as described. Very lightweight and easy to wash, but the rim of the glass was very sharp. Almost like the plastic was cut but not filed smooth. Hard to drink out of without feeling like you are going to cut your lip.

These are the most sturdy, yet elegant plastic wine glasses I have ever seen. They are large for red wines and perfect for outdoor or indoor use. Broken stemware no more. I will definitely be buying more!
