This is a great product. It can be used in infinite number of ways. It is solid in construction and the spigot stud is extremely heavy duty.

Good, yet something missng! Pricey
Good, but yet something missing! The clamp is strongly built and can be very handy. You can fix the clamp on the top rod of your light stand and bolt in the clamp.I have checked the thread, my Nikon coolpix fits in. But! The rubber washer is missing, so I cannot completely tighten my camera. If I put too much force without the rubber the washer protecting and absorbing the force, I can damage the camera body. With this camp designed to hold the camera in parallel to the ground, I doubt anybody can mount expensive cameras without the rubber washer.I have gave 2 star less for the price, missing rubber washer and rubber cover quality of the C jaw.Pros:- Very strong built- Handy clamp for photography- Thread matches camera bottom threadCons:- Rubber washer missing to protect camera body when threading.- Cannot full-tight cameras due to missing washer- Rubber quality of the C jaw cover not upto the mark- Little pricey compare to what you get- Rubber

Does the job expected of it...only concern is the plastic bit used for clamping may not be strong enough...time will tell, lets see...

Very poor quality. Tightning screw /nut is not strong enough to hold on. Doesn't work. Disappointed.
