I thought this product was a dream come true. My almost 4 year old German Shepherd immediately took to it and became obsessed. She didn’t even want to go for a walk anymore! I thought it was a great distraction for her while I checked the garden for butterfly eggs, right up until SHE BROKE HER TEETH on the grommet where the water shoots out. She bites at the water when it flies up, then will put her mouth over the water hole and bite at the water that way. Two of her incisors HAVE TO BE REMOVED and we have to wait the weekend before that can be done. PLEASE ONLY USE WITH CLOSE SUPERVISION. Had I imagined this could harm her I would have never bought it. .

We bought ours in NOV2019, just as winter was arriving. We live in the perfect weather of California (it never freezes here), but being cooler during winter means that the fountain gets very little use. The valve sticks in the down-position and stays ON all the time after using the foot pedal. I have oiled the piston that drives the valve, but that does not fix it. The Springs (one inside the valve and one to push the pedal back up after turning the water ON) are a factor of 2X not strong enough. Water is expensive where we live, so it costs us a lot when the fountain stays ON, overnight for example. And the pedal around the edges and underneath is rusting thru the white paint. Customer Support has answered every email back and forth, but could not get approval from their management to have the valve repaired or the springs improved. instead, they offered 20% off of buying a new one. Ouch, I'd have to pay more than $100 to get two, hoping that one works (maybe by mixing the parts of each) ... and summer is not here yet (APR2020) to use it full-time. No thanx. I see other Reviewers with the same exact problems and they bought theirs within one month of my purchase. I think the company must have received a bad batch of the valves, but they won't spend the $5-per-valve (guesstimate on amount) to help us customers. There are so many other companies on Amazon who jump-thru-hoops to help customers and to improve their products ... not this company. :-(

Wow, I've wanted one of these forever but had no idea how awesome this product actually is! Installation took under a minute and took maybe 5 minutes to get my dog to hit the pad of it all by himself.All I did was install the 3-way connector (awesome, by the way. You can turn one or both of the outgoing tubes on or off so you can leave this fountain hooked up AND water your garden). Then just screw on the hose for the fountain, and screw the fountain onto that hose. Tada. Put it on the ground.At first my dog didnt seem interested but after the first 2 times of showing him how to work it, he was all about it and drank with it from ease.The spray isn't high pressure, about the same as your normal hose, so for me it sprayed up about a foot, foot and a half from the fountain. That's perfect for him being a German shepherd.Can't wait to use this every day when the weather is a tad less cold, but even now he loves it already!

We all Love this fountain, family, friends, our dogs really took to it. The problem is that after 6 weeks, it wouldn’t shut off. Turn water on, step on pedal, the water comes on, but will not shut off.I have attempted to contact Bringer Pet, the manufacturer, but nothing. I don’t think I’ve ever written a bad review, but this one is warranted.

So I bought this because of the reviews I wasn’t sure if the quality would be that great.... but this thing is awesome ! It’s metal not plastic works fantastic ! But be prepared to train your dog! It took my boxer several weeks of showing him how to use it! Until one day I walked over to step on it he looked at me and stepped on it like “see mom I figured it out !l he loves it! So much he avoids the inside water bowl and demands out side for the fresher water. It’s just now getting hot out and I see a problem with it getting hot to the touch in direct sun so I recommend shade placement! Great product won’t disappoint ! Get it!

My 20 pound dog absolutely loved this for 1 day. I went to work and left the faucet on low and the flow from the adapter also on low. Just enough so he could continue to learn how to use. When I got home from work it was leaking all over the yard. One of the ends had pulled away. Please see photo. I don't know how this happened. The garden hose I used was 15 ft to go 4 ft, so it was not pulled in anyway. Since the hose has a special attachment - I am just hoping I can get a replacement hose. If anyone has a fix for this I would appreciate it. P.S. My dog was so happy with it last night. Thank youFollow Up - Customer Service was excellent - My dog will soon be enjoying his fountain.

Was surprised at how well this works - our dog is a huge fan; he hasn’t quite gotten the hang of it yet, but I am certain he will when we start using it more next summer! For now, he goes over and stares at it until I remind him to put his paw on it, which is mostly my fault because I don’t keep the water on continuously so he knows it doesn’t always work. Easy to drink, great if you have a dog that gets his water bowl full of dirt like it’s an art form. I would recommend getting your own 3-way hose adapter if you need access to your hose while keeping this plugged in - this does come with one, but it’s very cheaply made (plastic) and leaks a fair bit. The fountain itself is well-made but you can tell the adapter is just a freebie.

Fun idea but needs a pressure regulator. The pressure builds up when the flow stops and it bursts out quickly when the pedal is pressed to release pressure. The pressure also makes the pedal a bit stiff to press.Once the initial burst shoots the water up high, the flow drops to a low pressure fountain. Even if it is only a trickle, the fountain will force water out quickly when first pressed.The burst spooks my dog so she won’t use it unless I’m holding it down at a gentle spray.

The description said the product is adjustable using a small screw inside. Loosening or tightening the screw doesn't seem to do much of anything. Got myself a garden hose shutoff valve and use that to control the flow instead.

Le mien coule. Mais, le problème pour moi est que mon chien ne sait pas l'utiliser. Donc, je l'ai acheté pour rien. Jamais utilisé :/Au niveau de la qualité du produit : il coule. Donc, on ne peut pas le laisser ouvert. Je ne sais pas si c'est un problème qui est arrivé uniquement avec moi. À part à ça, je pense que c'est un produit très pratique.

Malheureusement je n,ai pas réussi ni avec mes 2 petits (yorkshire et shih tzu ) ni avec mes 2 grosses terre neuve. J'aimerais bien savoir comment les autres ont fait pour leur apprendre!
