Does this product come with the carry bag?

It's been a while since I bought it; don't remember receiving a bag. The top of the Tiffin has a convenient handle.

Does the lunch box keep food hot?

This tiffin can keep food hot for only 1-2 hrs, however the food will remain fresh for full day. If you want to keep your food hot for long hours then you should go for same tiffin with Insulated case. This product also you can see in my amazon store. Thanks

Does this tiffin come with separator plates that serve as lids for the bottom three tiers?

No...tin on top is the "lid" for the one below, except top tin has a lid, and there is no breaking it down..to seal/transport, must carry the stack, but they work great for me carrying lunch to work. Enjoy..

Can the individual containers work alone?

No, the only lid/covering is for the topmost container, the other ones fit/stack into one another.
