Say goodbye to your old caulk strip. KINDPMA's White Wall Caulk Strip Tape lies flush to whatever is being caulked. No mess, cleanup or fumes. It certainly looks more solid than regular caulk, but can holds down the mold and mildew, it's worth it. Tips: Paint thinner or mineral spirits can be used to soften caulk prior to removal. Thoroughly clean the surface with scouring powder to remove all residue, and then rinse with water. Wipe previously caulked areas with rubbing alcohol. Dry all surfaces thoroughly. Steps: Measure where you would like to apply the caulk and cut strips of caulk to length. Do not continue the same length of caulk around corners. Cut into separate strips. Starting in the corner, peel a small section of the backing from the strip. Press strip firmly to shower and wall surface. Work carefully to avoid having to reposition the strip once adhered. Working in small sections at a time, continue to slowly pull off backing and press the strip firmly until the entire strip is adhered. Fellow suggested heating caulk stip with a hot blow dryer and completely sealing bottom half of strip, before sealing the top half. Can used regular waterproof caulk to seal and reinforce all egdes of the strip that you cut in corners of tub, at the front edge, etc. Prevent water contact with caulk for a minimum of 24 hours after installation. Package Weight: Approx 225g(38mm width)

remember never buy anything w/o a review
OK, giving this more thought than it is worth. looks great, applies well. doesn't stick. I think the problem is that the fold in the tape is not cut deep enough. so eventually it starts to oil can flat again. I left it dry for 48 hrs. the other problem might be the silicone caulk. since this is a joint between the tub and the tile, it must have flexibility. and be waterproof. after all these years and jobs, I am not willing to trust tape to keep water out of the tub joint. I scrapped the wall and tub, then went over it w/ a scrubby and lacquer thinner. It is clean as I know how to get it. your turn
