Cabinet 736401PCOM is a nice cabinet (IF you are sent the correct cabinet) Read review for details
Kendall SystemBuild cabinet 736401PCOM is a nice sturdy cabinet with extra details like recessed decorative door panels and nice handles. The finish is good and easy to clean. It is a good enough quality to place in our dining room and it holds ALOT of stuff. Even though the wood is press board it is a thicker board and a higher quality than other cabinets. I have purchased two of these cabinets in a 36" size and a 16" size. It was fairly easy to put together and the only challenge we had was getting the hardware on the doors to click into place. It is a two person job for that part. My 3rd attempted purchase of this cabinet was disappointing to say the least. Do NOT purchase this cabinet from the seller CoolPanda. Their prices are much higher and they sent me the completely WRONG cabinet. The cabinet they sent me was SystemBuild 7922403 which is a cheap flimsy poorly made cabinet with cheap doors with lines grooved in the doors that I suppose are intended to be decorative. This cabinet is a poor imitation of the cabinet I ordered and certainly NOT the product described in the listing. I did attempt to resolve the issue with the vendor. They sent me a label to return a 140 pound cabinet to the nearest UPS shipper 40 miles away. This is not a reasonable solution for THEIR MISTAKE. I would have been happy with a discount. I am NOT HAPPY with the lack of customer service from this seller and I would NEVER recommend them.

Large and sturdy cabinet at a low price
I've owned this cabinet for just over 3 years now. It's sat in our three season room the entire time, where it sees daily use as our pantry. It holds quiet a lot of food, even the heavy canned goods. The cabinet gets lots of sunlight and sees annual temperature swings of roughly 10*F - 90*F. Yet it holds up like a champ. I've had to readjust the hinges twice (takes less than 5 minutes), which is a pretty small amount of maintenance given everything. Note I mentioned the hinges are adjustable. The legs and most of the other shelves are also adjustable, which is a great feature for the price point. I recently purchased another one of these cabinets because I needed more storage space, and it only cost $5 more than it did 3 years ago. Great bargain. From start to finish, it took me about 2 hours to fully assemble the cabinet by myself. This includes setup, construction, cleanup, and a quick laundry break snuck in there. If you had someone else to help you (or are more mechanically inclined) it would definitely go much faster. Note that there is some heavy lifting required, so having someone around to help is a good idea regardless. The assembly instructions are very spartan. They tell you everything you need to know to put it together, but nothing more. If you're not careful, you could accidentally install a shelf or something backwards. Note that the assembly is very forgiving - it will still function fine, you may just have an unpainted side visible. Assembly only requires a screw driver and hammer, but there's a few other nice to haves: 1) A magnetic screw driver. Otherwise getting the screw into the legs' recess might be difficult. 2) A small container for holding parts. It has lots of screws, nails, etc that are difficult to sort through in their packaging. 3) A wet cloth. The shelves come a little dusty from the factory. I've sang a lot of praise, but I do have to note that this cabinet isn't perfect. Both of mine came with superficial damage from the factory (barely visible once assembled). The doors/walls/shelves aren't perfectly square, even after adjusting. If you're looking for something pristine or artsy, this is not the cabinet for you. But if you need a rugged work horse for storage, I challenge you to find something better anywhere near this price point. Unless you're building from scratch, I doubt you will. This cabinet has definitely earned all 5 of its stars.

Cabinet doors do not sit correctly...
Let me just start by saying this was probably the hardest piece of furniture I’ve ever had to put together. This was on prime but couldn’t be here for 7 days. The shipping was delayed and the box came completely shredded on both ends. This was extremely heavy so I had to lay it on the porch and take it inside piece by piece. Mine came with all parts and instructions thankfully. I had my first problem at step one which is to put the hinges on the cabinet walls. You MUST have a drill for this. There’s no way I could have even put these in with a screwdriver. The screws barely fit inside the hinge holes. Second problem I had was that one of the hinges was broken and I had to fix it for it to even work. Putting the cabinet together was fairly simple besides all the pieces being heavy. The board that goes on the back, was not properly cut to fit this cabinet. No matter how I layed it, it just would not fit without one side hanging off the cabinet. Once I got it put together I thought it was pretty cool until I put the doors on. One of the doors hangs too low on the right, the other hangs too high on the left and no matter how many times I try to adjust it like the instructions say to, it does not make the slightest bit of difference, so this means the holes were not drilled properly to make sure the door hinges match on both sides. Every time I open the door on the right, it scrapes the bottom of the cabinet. So all in all, I will say this cabinet is very pretty with the doors being like real cabinet doors but in the end it was extremely frustrating to put together and now I’ve paid over $200 for a cabinet with crooked doors. So it looks kinda silly. Not sure what to do now as it cost too much to send back.

good price for this piece when it was on sale.
This cabinet was not too hard to assemble but you will need 2 people to help lift. Putting the doors on while cabinet is laying down is the easiest way to install them. Once the shelves are in, the cabinet is more sturdy. This will be fine for craft and material items. Not the best materials for sturdiness and the back panel should be a heavier piece not the flimsy cardboard. The paint does chip easily. I pushed it around the room a bit and it held up well. Overall it is a decent cabinet. I have ordered anotehr and hope it will be ok, too.

Easy to assemble and good quality. I had to request for a replacement door as it had a flaw to it. Good customer service. Part was replaced the same week. The only that would need improvement is the back panel. It’s just a cardboard panel. Should be a more rigid material.

Missing a crucial part which is the safety bracket to ensure the cabinet won't tip over.

The unit was fairly easy to assemble (instructions easy follow), it is made from good quality materials, has 5 adjustable feet, and can be anchored to the wall for more stability. Very pleased with the cabinet. It looks super in our kitchen area. However, we could only track the product as far as Coquitlam through UPS and it appeared to have disappeared into thin air from there. Gladly we received the unit about a week later than the delivery date, so all is well.

The doors are solidly. The rest of it is cheaply made and scratches easily. The reviews were right - good for laundry room or a non high traffic area only. Also, not all the ‘nuts and bolts’ were there. Good thing I had spare pieces from furniture I took apart. I give it a three because the hinges and the doors are solid along with the door handles.
