Keep interior wood projects looking beautiful with Minwax Polyurethane Wood Finish Aerosol Spray. This oil-based clear sealer protective coating protects and adds long-lasting beauty to woodwork, furniture, doors, cabinets and floors. The clear top coat is one of the most durable coatings for wood protection against scratches, spills and more. It can be used on both finished and unfinished wood projects, and is available in a variety of sheens. The fast-drying formula allows for quick recoats in 4-6 hours. Application Directions: 1. Surface must be dry and free of old finishes in poor condition, paint, wax, grease, polish, dirt or other foreign matter.2. Sand to obtain a smooth uniform surface. Remove all dust.3. If desired, apply Minwax stain to unfinished wood surfaces. Follow directions for application and dry times.4. Shake Minwax Fast-Drying Polyurethane vigorously for two minutes. Shake for 10 seconds occasionally during use. 5. Protect adjacent areas from overspray. Wet overspray can be removed with mineral spirits.6. Hold can vertically 12 inches from surface. Depress button fully and spray using an even, sweeping motion with slightly overlapping strokes. On unfinished wood, apply sufficient material to seal open joints, edges and end-grain.7. Apply a THIN coat to avoid runs and sags. Recoat within 2 hours. If unable to do so, wait a minimum of 72 hours, then lightly sand and recoat.8. Apply at least three coats on unfinished wood and two coats on surfaces already finished.9. After final coat, allow 24 hours before normal use. Review: Works fast and dries quickly . Never tried polyurethane in a spray can. Very easy to use and no clean up after using. The paint is a little bit thinner, but covers well. No worries about the paint going stale in a regular can and very easy storage. Will look forward to more of this type paint in the future.

Great stuff! Coverage and leveling of the finish is great! Definitely hides imperfections of a rattle can spray job. The “warm satin” is beautiful and the build is great too!

The finish looks nice but it goes on very thin. Took quite a few coats to build up a decent coat on some thirsty hickory. I ended up ordering double what I thought I would need. It does however make it very easy to get a drip free finish. On a more solid surface it would probably be a lot better.
