HB Soft 2 Putter (Model 11)

Fantastic putter for a very affordable price. This putter is a gem! Pros: Affordable price. (I paid ~$150 for the black version with composite shaft.) Milled face is fantastic for feel. Putter has a nice balanced feel. (I'm a straight putter, so I never felt the need for adjustable weights.) Composite shaft looks cool. (Not sure if it has any performance benefits.) Grip is nice and fat. Tacky rubbery feel. Looks pretty durable. Head cover is really nice, minus the Velcro closure. (see cons below) Cons: Velcro on the head cover flap is annoying. Magnetic flap would have been nice. I love center shaft putters. Unfortunately, the selection is somewhat limited unless you go the zero torque putter route. I'm not a believer in zero torque, so I wasn't about to shell out ~$400. Cleveland to the rescue. Thank goodness...

I’m loving my Cleveland HB Soft 2 Model 11C putter!!! Excellent quality, balance and weighting. Value for the $$$ is outrageous! I purchased this over a Scotty Cameron without hesitation after demoing both clubs.

Best putter I've ever used! weighted perfectly and the center shaft is just what I needed to reduce my torque. I've always used a 34" but this 35" seems to give me better control. I like the larger and softer grip. The head cover is perfect.

Nice design and good quality. It has helped me some, but still adjusting. Would help to have screw-in weights on the bottom because it's a little light and have to hit it harder, but it could be me. The price is outstanding.

It takes a couple of rounds to get used to this putter. That said, I am thrilled with the feel and quality. The copy of the product did not mention information about a putter cover being included so I am including a photo of it. I like the beefy grip. Great value for the price.

One round with this Cleveland gem of a putter and I am immediately placing it in my permanent bag above my Scotty Cameron Newport 2 that I’ve played for almost 20 years. Today I made six long range putts with this putter that I probably would have missed otherwise. The reason I think is the pure face balance and the heavier putter weight that allows the clubhead to arc perfectly—and easily and repeatably—through the hitting zone. I’m a good green reader and it just gives me so much confidence now that when I read the line and speed I feel like I am going to make the putt! It’s such a great feeling! My playing partner just couldn’t stop grinning in disbelief at all the putts I was making. I have no idea how a $139 putter is better than a $400 Scotty but it is. Before I bought it I read the favorable reviews so let me just add mine to the mix. This putter is a steal! It is a professional putter that you will not regret putting in your bag. Cheers.

This is my second putter in about 8 months. My current putter is a Spider putter ($250) and i am very happy with it, BUT, I really wanted to try a centerline shaft putter and my research and a recommendation from a friend led me to the Cleveland HB Soft #2 11C ($147). I got it Friday and putted with it in a 2 man scramble on Saturday. I have a putting green at my house so I practiced with it for about 30 mins Friday night at about 4 feet distance going 360 degrees around the hole. I hit about 85%. If you've seen me putt, that's a great percentage :). Saturday I hit 3 putts over 15 feet, one of 25 feet. My feel for the putter was really good. The line on the putter and the straight shaft makes for a true line that was easy for me to follow and when I missed I could see why. I will also say the milled face gives you greater control and helps makes the misses much smaller. I highly recommend this putter! It looks great and feels great! UPDATE 05/24/24: I wa asked if it came with a putter cover. It does and here are some pics.
