The 3/4 inch coil will hold about 170 sheets.

Will the 3/4" coil fit a 1" thick book? (specifically a whole tgatb language arts and math book)

I do not think it will. I think you will need an inch and half coil. This will give you enough space so the pages will turn. hope this helps.

What binder machine works best with these spines?

4:1 Pitch: spiral binding spines fit letter size paper (8.5 x 11.0 inches), the binding spirals have a 4:1 pitch, will fit any binding machine that punches 4 holes per inch.

Can I use these with the holes the Cinch makes?!

I would not think so. These coils are designed for 4 holes per inch. I looked online and found the Cinch punch makes 2 holes per inch. If you want to experiment and try, I would recommend getting a single coil to try.
