Climb in, on, or around ECR4Kids Peek-A-Boo Caterpillar. The innovative climbing toy for toddlers and young children is designed to encourage physical activity, imaginative play, and cognitive development. This vibrant set includes a whimsical head, and tail, two colored sections that create a crawl-through tunnel with peek-a-boo windows, and 14 large boot-shaped feet designed to hold the unit in place. The weather and fade-resistant material work indoors and outdoors for hours of entertainment, ideal for use in a playroom with a soft surface or a backyard. Children can advance their motor skills by crawling forward, backward, or climbing on top. School-aged children enhance memory by turning the tunnel into an educational game of recalling letters, shapes, and numbers. Beyond physical development, nurture social interaction, when used with multiple kids as they learn to take turns and collaborate. Parents and educators can disassemble for space-saving storage.

Incredible product quality for the price!
My two year old (tall for her age, would not recommend for a normal 2 year old height) LOVES to climb so we were looking for something for her birthday that was toddler friendly, buy also something her almost 4 year old sister (special needs- autism) would enjoy. We hit the jackpot with this Caterpillar structure! Both my kids love it!The structure itself was fairly easy to assemble. The written instructions are not great, but the visuals are easy to follow which was great! There are 4 main body parts. In our case, it was clear it was two pairs, which we didn't realize it was until it was already put together so there was a little unevenness in how it matched up, but by no means a big deal at all!We use it both indoor and outdoor and the quality of the product for price is well worth it!Overall, I highly recommend!!!

Awesome activity toy for my little monkey!
My girl wants to climb and hang on everything, and crawl through every possible space she may potentially fit. Let's just say this caterpillar is an awesome outlet for a high-energy toddler! She uses the tunnel as a fort and to play a version of peek-a-boo, and she climbs up on the caterpillar's body to then walk along like it's a balance beam. And then she goes from thrill-seeking toddler to affectionate angel when she stops trying to give mommy a heart attack and pauses in her play to give her "Mrs. Caterpillar" hugs and a kiss. This wasn't a small investment in her playroom to say the least, but I'm so glad I purchased it and would do so again in a heartbeat! We'll get years of play from this one.

Huge hit with small kids in neighborhood BUT
Our neighborhood playground lacked any toys for the smaller kids. Neighbors purchased several toys including this for younger kids. Huge success and the kids and their parents love the extra toys!! I assembled and maintain them. Unfortunately a plastic piece that in conjunction with a plastic screw holds head assembly to body of caterpillar has come out and gotten lost. Through Amazon and all the instruction/assembly manual there is zero way I’ve found to get in touch with ECR4kids store with part numbers I need to fix it. This item shows as unavailable from them now on Amazon. If anyone from ECR4 kids reads this review and can reach out with customer support contact info I’d appreciate it. So 5 stars for the toy, 1 star for customer support at this point.

Cate the Caterpillar
My kids love it they named her Cate. I was very excited about this product. I read great reviews. and I reply on people to tell the truth, but I do take it with a grain of salt. I am happy to report all the reviews were true which was pleasant to read. If I had one complaint the shoes (Caterpillar feet) are very, very cheaply made plastic. I am concerned. What happen when a foot cracks?? This is a climbing play structure for kids, it just a matter of time.

Great toy, sturdy and will get a lot of years from it
This caterpillar is a very loved by all the kids that come over. My son is 17 months old and is in and out all the time and is discovering climbing on top now. We have floor mats around it since he started this. Even the eight months old crawling go in and out. Also, a three four and five year old use all the time as well. It was easy to put together and took me longer only because I took it apart thinking I had wrong sides up. In the pic that is his 12 month old cousin crawling throughFits, great with our other play pieces in our basement. No regrets he will continue to use this for many more years

Great outdoor toy for the kids!
The kids, age 1 and 2, loved this toy. It is made of heavy plastic and seems like it will last a few years. The 1 yr old needs to be supervised as the top of the Caterpillar is slick and he is just big enough to be able to climb on top of it by himself. The 2 yr old had no problem getting on or off. The 9nly negative is that ibwishe the feet snapped on a little better so they stay put when you move it. Other than that, it is easy to pick up and move which is a plus for mowing the lawn and keeping it in the shade.

Toddlers love it
My toddlers age 8 months and 3 years love this item. Was fairly easy to assemble - took about 15 minutes. The kids can easily go through on hands and knees with room to spare. They also have me climb through with them while playing but requires me to go through on my belly. The shoes are removable to help the item fit through doors. But if installed outside, I personally would use screws to keep them in place.I keep the item indoors, but keep in mind it does take up an approximately 2’ wide by 6’ long area.
