Fantastic product! Stabilized my warped records
I recently was gifted my mom's old records and noticed that they all had warped a bit over the years. I purchased this product to help stabilize the old records and some of my new ones that were warped when they arrived. If you look at my first image (before putting the weight on), you can see that the record had some space between itself and the slip mat. The second image was taken immediately after putting the weight on and as you can see, the space is immediately gone! Pros: - Perfect weight, I could actually see the warped record stabilizing right after putting it on! - Fits under lid of my audio technica record player, so I can close the lid while it's on. - Sleek design doesn't stand out too much against the record, especially since Cons: - Only con I could think of would be that it covers the center art on the vinyl. This is a tiny grievance and isn't specific to this brand. I would much prefer my records to sound clear and remain undamaged over being able to see the center art while they're spinning. Target audience: Record collectors (and newbies/people with just a couple of records). Anyone who wants to protect their investment and be able to enjoy their vinyl music for years to come!

It works, and looks great doing it!
I'll be the first to admit, I was a bit skeptical about the true usefulness of stabilizers, so I figured I'd try one of the less expensive varieties first. If you don't have older vinyl and are rocking primarily heavy weight 180g pressings, the Femeli Record Weight Stabilizer (or any stabilizer for that matter) shouldn't be necessary. However, if you have some older vinyl or lighter weight pressings, a stabilizer will make a significant difference in stability and sound quality. I've got a vintage JVC QL-Y5F table that has the electromagnetic servo tonearm that already accounts for warpage, but I'm still hearing a significant difference on my older/lighter weight vinyl in back to back testing with/without the stabilizer. I have the high profile (heavier) version of the stabilizer, and it seems to be the perfect size/weight combination, especially for those with high torque direct drive tables. If you're using a belt drive table, I would probably recommend going with the lower profile (lighter) stabilizer (or even a clamp vs a stabilizer), especially if you don't have pitch control to adjust speed. Even then, having this much additional weight at the spindle may cause premature belt wear. It is also worth mentioning that clearance could certainly be an issue for tables with low profile dust covers. My QL-Y5F is a big table to begin with and has plenty of clearance, even with the lid down. Overall, the Femeli has made me a believer in the usefulness of stabilizers, and the build quality is very good for the price. It's a perfect fit on the spindle, has a nice quality felt backing to protect your vinyl, and is perfectly balanced and wobble free. After using it for a few weeks, I see no reason to upgrade. It's a keeper!

I was doubtful but...
I've read so much about record weights, that they were either helpful or useless, that I wasn't swayed either way. I had to find out for myself. I have a belt-drive Audio Technica LP60XBT and was a little concerned that it would affect the speed. But that model of record player spins just a little too fast out of the box anyway. I tried it on several LPs, so what was my verdict? It was worth it but I wouldn't go any higher than this price if they're all basically selling a weight. It made the music a little punchier and clearer, slightly better instrument separation, so less muddled. It wasn't a night and day difference but it was definitely noticeable by me and my 17 year old. It was a worthwhile accessory, even for my basic turntable. And because it did slow things down a fraction, my records now play at the proper speed!

Quality TT weight.
Does the job, looks sleek, fair price. I believe it's just the right weight 305 grams to surpress resonance, hold record steady and not overburden the TT motor.

Good low height album weight with great quality
Excellent low height album weight. Quick delivery, Reasonable price, good quality with the finish and felt bottom. Fits and works well even in semi-warped albums.

I'm not going to trawl through a thesaurus to find adjectives that describe the 'improved' sound heard by the use of a record weight. Sonically, I struggle to hear any difference. But what this stabilizer does do well is flatten those slightly warped records that in turn greatly improve stylus tracking. I can at least see the improvement!

Se siente bien construido. Ajunta bien a mi tornamesa. Si ayuda a nivelar los discos con ondulaciones ligeras. Para mí, la mejora del sonido es mínima.

I was keen to receive this item and experience the benefits on the sound, but before I even used, found I was disappointed at the build quality in that the felt on the bottom was off center, would not expect this considering the price of this item

This is a nice and substantial weight, it's got a clean design and is machined well with no harsh edges or major defects, there's a little bit of indentation on the top like a harder material was sat on it but it's barely noticeable. Has a thick felt pad underneath and fits well under the dust cover of my turntable, happy with it.

EL ARTÍCULO ES PERFECTO, EL EMBALAJE NO TANTO, LA PARTE SUPERIOR DEL ESTABILIZADOR LLEGÓ CON UN RAYÓN, PROBABLEMENTE HECHO POR ACCIDENTE ANTES DE SER EMBALADO.
