Galbani, Whole Milk Ricotta Cheese, 15 oz

Galbani has a light, fresh taste. I like to eat it for breakfast with fresh fruit, some toasted & buttered slices of French or Ciabatta bread and a good cup or two of coffee. I’ve also used it to make the filling for Italian baked Manicotti (I make my own crepe-like pasta shells, they’re lighter than the more common pre-made pasta tubes). This ricotta also freezes well but it’s a good idea to remove a couple tablespoons of product as it will expand some when freezing.

This Product is smooth and has a wonderful taste. Love to make Baked ziti with it. Delicious.

Galbani whole milk ricotta cheese is the only kind I buy. I moved from the East Coast and couldn’t find the brand I used back home until I tried Galbani. I use this for my homemade lasagna and stuffed shells or just a scoop on your plate of pasta. It’s smooth, creamy and quality ricotta. Trust me I know! I deducted a star because the containers seem to be getting smaller like everything these days. If you want real Italian ricotta, this is it and it’s worth the money to me!
