I was seriously skeptical about this thing. It sat on my counter for weeks after it arrived because I was waiting for a day when I could throw it away without too much guilt. Well, I used it for the first time yesterday. Holy Cow! It peeled 5 bulbs (not cloves, BULBS) of garlic cloves in under 10 minutes. Yes, I had to separate the cloves before putting them in, but I didn't have to peel any of them! I highly recommend this thing, especially if you recipes that use a lot of garlic.

The machine arrived on time! No problem When I opened it everything was ok except the electric unit that was all scratched up and looked like it has been used. So I decided to try it and see if it works, to my surprise it worked well then I decided to charge it again and use it the next day! I fully charged it but when I tried it, the red light was turned on as if I never charged it AT ALL. The only explanation was the electric unit is a used one but the remaining of the machine was a new unit. Unfortunately, I have to return it.

At a little over 30$ I thought why not give it a try. It's not a bad little machine. I wanted to find some way to peel garlic faster to dehydrate and make garlic powder. It does the job for 80 to 90 percent of the time. Still faster than hand peeling. Yes it's messy to clean, but I don't clean it thoroughly til I'm absolutely finished. I probably did about 100 cloves at one sitting and the machine is still running well. I hope it lasts a long time. I grow about 4-500 bulbs a year. I give some away to family and make powder with the rest. (you don't know what you're missing til you've made your own!) I haven't tried it on anything else yet but for garlic alone it's well worth it!

Totally unbelievable. #1 hard to believe how poorly made this product is - chincy doesn’t cover it #2 with a full charge it’s operating time is under one minute #3 after two chargings it still didn’t peel a dozen cloves of garlic DO NOT PURCHASE THIS PRODUCT

Didn’t work

I have difficulty with grip strength and peeling garlic was becoming impossible. This product has given me back my independence in the kitchen. I just press a button and it's done. It's powerful and very simple to operate. A truly thoughtful design

I tried it on garlic, which worked great, and then decided to test it on some grapes for a fruit salad. I was amazed that it worked perfectly on the grapes too without damaging the fruit inside. The skin comes right off. The battery life seems good so far. Very happy with this purchase
