I got this originally to make homemade mayo back then (in attempts to avoid seed oil & HFCS) & still do this today!! This is the best processor for that process because the pusher piece has 2 tiny holes in it, so after you blend your eggs & vinegar (& spices) you leave it running & pour your measured oil in there & it slowly streams it in... ZERO messing up or getting the oil too fast like I've done with my blender or immersion blender. Hands down the best way to make mayo.... also the disc is incredible for grating cheese (because who wants wood pulp & antibiotics in their cheese) as well as veggies like carrots for slaw or baked goods & cucumbers for tzatziki sauce. Turn the disc to the other side to do slicing, I'll use this for cabbage for slaw. I bought this maybe a year ago, used it once or twice, put it up and promptly forgot about it. Realized today this would be great for homemade dog treats. So I got it down, and it was a joy to use. I had to make flour from the oats, it did great, then it handled mixing in the ingredients. It was fast and efficient. It made it all so easy...including clean up. I love the scraper, I used that a lot.
