This Papa Blue Whale is an awesome toy for the bath, pool, or beach! Very durable, I love mine!

This is a very nice figure of a whale to add to a collection or display for decorative or educational purposes. I just wish Papo would make this larger, say 20" long so that it properly makes the other whales smaller in comparison. The Blue Whale is the largest animal on earth... The paint and movable jaw are well done. It could also be a nice toy for an older child who will take care of it. I wouldn't buy this for a younger or rough child that would break the jaw piece or chew on the figure. Perhaps age 7 and up depending on the child.

The sculpt and size were very nice and appropriate, however, the choice to make this figure a rich blue rather than a blue-ish gray undercuts the opportunity to have this creature look as realistic as it could. After doing a personal modification, it looked far more realistic.
