CX78+ Wireless Gamepad

I've been trying to add wireless control options for all of my retro consoles. This game pad works very well with my Atari 2600, 7800, XEGS, and 130XE. d-pad feel good and is responsive. I don't feel like I have to push it hard or to extremes to register a direction. Diagonals are easy to hit but not too easy that I have trouble maintaining a straight line. Buttons are responsive and have a soft click when they are activated. I will likely be purchasing more of these or the wireless CX40 so I have at least one on each machine. I may even give it a try on my 1040 ST and Colecovision. Only thing I would ask the company to add would be turbo buttons or switches.

An excellent re-creation of the European Atari 7800 controller that we never got a chance to play with. Yes, the buttons are a tad too much apart from each other but hey, that's how they were back then. Overall an excellent product. Oh, and if you want to plug this to a Colecovision this controller is AMAZING! The two buttons act accordingly, the buttons are discreet.

While the gamepad works it is very inconsistent. All the directions and buttons work when you press very deliberately, but when in game action half the time up or down do not register. So while functional it sucks at game play. Maybe I just got a faulty pad but would not advise anyone to purchase one of these. Past my return date, so I'm stuck with a gamepad that is unplayable. Sad, other reviews say good things but not with my controller.
