WestlandVID403AC Sales Deluxe Dryer Vent Kit with Chrome Vent Cover

The original cover to our dryer vent was blown off during a wind storm in New Mexico. Ordered this to replace the original. If you didn't know, New Mexico is very windy. I would recommend this product. I would not recommend visiting New Mexico unless you are required by law. Too windy.

Price was reasonable

its a pretty simple product, easy to install, but when it comes to putting the appliance in place in an RV, 24" of hose just isn't enough, so a trip to home depot was required to finish the job. In my installation, the washer/dryer had to go into an opening slightly larger than the unit, so the hose had to be attached prior to inserting the unit - this is why the hose was too short. however I think this is the case with most RV installations.

Our old flapper vent kept letting water leak into the RV. This was a perfect fit for our Splendide washer-dryer combo and has solved the leak issue.

This is all cheap plastic not worth the 50 bucks. I thought the cover was chrome metal but it is cheap plastic too.

Everything with this product is great except the short piece of dryer vent. Had to run to hardware store to get another section. Either include more or leave it out. Nothing more frustrating to stack the dryer on top and realize the vent will never reach.

The product I received is a product that is less costly, being black plastic and was illustrated as chrome. As time constraints are a concern, I was forced to use it.Thomas Tomczak

The hose is only 2 foot. So you are limited on the location. The actual vent opening is 1.25” X 5”. The cover is 6.5” X 6.25”. Package only has 6 screws so you will be short if wanting to make a clean install. It does have a flap inside and it seems Like it will hold up.
