Sasaki Equinox 45-Piece Stainless Steel Flatware Set

This is truly the most beautiful, unique flatware set I've ever seen. Although some pieces were delivered defective; however, the seller, eHappy Home, responded to my inquiry and sent out a replacement immediately.I'm rating this flatware set 4/5 stars, as the design is exquisite (I especially LOVE the handle design of the knives!); however, while the quality of the material is decent for the price point I got it for (approx 65 USD), I just expected it to be a bit stronger, where it wouldn't be so easy to scratch -- especially since Sasaki is a sister company of Mikasa. That being said, it would be difficult to find a better set, overall, for the price at which I got it for, at the time of my purchase. I suggest you handle with care when placing in drawer and sink, and when washing, to try to prevent scratching as much as possible.If I could, I would rate the seller (at the time of my purchase), eHappy Home, 5/5 stars, for a very fast shipment, and an immediate and helpful response to my inquiry.

I find the knives are so very mis-balanced. The handle is far heavier than the blade and cause the utensil to fall off the plate no matter where it's placed. No real distinction either between the fork styles. Spoons are good though.

I love set enough that six years later I am buying a second set. My first was from Macy’s. My son seems to have lost half of the spoons.

When it was time to upgrade to some adult cutlery I wanted something that looked nice but didn't break the bank. This set is exactly that. It reminds me of something that would be used in a upscale Japanese restaurant. It's very sleek and the spoons aren't fully circular like most boring sets, rather they are oval shaped for a unique yet functional design. The flat handle also rests beautifully in your hands and they are fine in the dishwasher. The fork sets are quite similar in size, not exactly appetizer/dinner sized, but they work and they are a huge upgrade from boring old cutlery.It's been almost a year and they still look shiny and new, even after every day use. I would fully recommend!

Nice design. Not substantial enough. Good for second set as needed but not primary.

Knives were not to well balanced. Looks of the set is nice.

Love the style and use them daily. Not as heavy as I expected.

Great deal, good product. They are weighted weirdly and fall of plates a lot though.
