The camra looks nice but I can’t install it till spring it’s to cold outside

I installed this on a 2004 Chevy Express van today and it is excellent. The camera view in the highest setting is sees way back but includes the trailer hitch ball at the bottom of the view. I paired with with 7” Esky TFT screen and the picture quality is sharp and clear. Well worth the money. It comes with a 10 meter long cable, very generous length to route to the screen and power connection points. I did have to slightly trim with sandpaper the little plastic tabs on the back of the light assembly to fit the slots that fit slots in the van body to help secure it in place but that took only about 5 minutes.

I do really like the look of this camera/brake light. It looks like it's always been there and installation was relatively easy. The picture quality is good during the day and at night thanks to all of the lights. My only complaint is that I'd like to be able to adjust the camera itself further up. It's adjustable, but will only go far. I have it adjusted as far as I can and it still points almost directly down-if I could adjust it two more 'clicks' up, the field of vision would be amazing. As it is, the angle of vision is below average--pointed mostly down and not 'out'.

Looks factory as you can get when installed (the camera). The screen is the clip on over your existing review, not bad. Works well overall.

Great camera works great at night looks good on the vehicle.

I installed this rear brake light back-up camera on my 2014 GMC Savana along with a Master Tailgaters rear view mirror with integrated LCD display and it works great! I wired it with a switch instead of back-up light power so I can turn it on whenever I want in different circumstances. The light assembly fits perfectly but the connector that comes with it does not fit the connector on the van. Cut the wires and did a bit of soldering and that fixed the problem. The light is easy to install but the whole job with the mirror monitor took me a good 7 hours to do. The tougher part was doing the wiring under the dash and passing it along the left windshield post to the mirror. I'm a bit of a perfectionist when it comes to wiring using fuses and looming everywhere but it might take you a little less time if you choose the simpler way... Some reviews were mentioning that wideness angle is narrow and that we don't see far enough behind. I can say that it's true but not important for my usage. The height of camera coverage is adjustable. At the highest, I can still see the bumper and about 20 feet behind. Overall, I recommend that back-up camera. I'm really enjoying it!

Brake light fits very well. Picture quality is awesome. We have other systems, but this one is way better then the generic ones. Easy to hook up. The only painful thing is to run the wires, but that is the nature of these wired systems. Very happy with the purchase.

I like the night vision camera, and it is quite clear in daytime. Would have helped to have wires labelled but not too difficult to figure out. About 4 hours to install and route wiring and cable.
