It's a little expensive at $59.99 but it's still cheaper and better than buying a dedicated roller skate that my son will outgrow within a year or less. So this was a nice alternative option. Because it has 4 wheels, it is more stable and less like skating than a normal roller blade but the fact that you can just throw this into your hockey back and put it on immediately after practice is perfect. He was a little nervous at first because it glides really quickly and he's not too sure how to stop. There is a runner ball on the back of the right skate that he's learning to use.
