Second time used.
Easy to put together. Buy a 12 pack when start peeling off that protective film on the outside of the steel. I wanted to try this out before New Years. I grilled a turkey in Dec. 18. I worked out great. I might have had the coals a little close on both sides. I rotisserie grilled a 50 pig on New Years Eve. It took 60 lbs of charcoal w/ 3 lbs ea. cherry and hickory wood chips. It took 9 hours to get it to 169 degrees. I feel I should have left it on maybe one hour longer. It feel apart at the spine clamp at 169 degrees though. I could have placed the front and back half on the grill plates for a little longer.

Best roaster!
The media could not be loaded. This roaster is the best. We cooked 83 pounds lechon on propane and it turned out good!

Awesome spit roaster and grill!
Great spit roaster. Easy to put together. I added some firebricks to the floor to retain some heat, cooked a 38lb lamb in 3 hours. Lid closed used about 15 pounds of charcoal and smoking chips. After the lamb we popped on the grill grates and cooked some chicken legs. The spit roaster has 3 different heights you can place it at, and the legs were hitting the top as it was rotating on the highest setting. Had to lower it to the middle setting, which isn’t an issue, just something to be aware of. Highly highly recommend!
