Why did you pick this product vs others?:I’ve used Scott’s fertilizer for years. Very good quality product with excellent results.

I live in the northeast and I’ve used the four different Turff Builder Scott products for years with decent results.The important thing to remember is just spread it according to the directions for your spreader.Some People that talk about their lawns that burn, must be putting too much down. I made the mistake once up pouring my bag into the spreader on the lawn and spilt a clump of it. Even after using a rake to try to spread it out and pick it up that small area of the grass burnt.Sometimes my lawn doesn’t get as green as I would like which again probably goes to the amount that I put on.Its great for keeping the weeds and the crab grass down which I hardly ever have any on my front lawns and on a larger rear 40 parts of my property where I don’t care about and don’t treat, I have a lot of it. The final treatment of Wintergard is always used before the snow flies.

Good product to use in late spring or early summer.
