This candler is exceptionally bright. The rubber tips really help seal the light off on the egg. I don't even have to be in a very dark room. It works much better than a regular flashlight, and is much brighter than the other candler I have.

The product does exactly what it is supposed to. The light is incredibly bright and really shoes the inside of the even darker eggs. My eggs are a light/dark brown and this light shined through without a problem.I thought originally this was battery operated and came with a charging cord, however, buyer beware this must be plugged in at all times to work. The cord is decently long, but it is NOT battery operated.I took off one star because the rubber piece that you stick in the end of the light (to better deal around the egg) falls off unless you keep the light vertical or hold it on. It would be a lot easier/nicer if you could shove it in and have it stay in place while moving your eggs around.

It seems to work just fine but my eggs are still a few days out to tell how they are doing

Bright

It is a bright light but the 2 attachments it came with to "spotlight" are not very useful. Also when pulling the plug out of the wall, the box part comes apart easily. Overall a good product but if it breaks I wouldn't get again.
