AMI 19285K Black Swing Step Flat Powder Coat

Looks awesome on my GMC! Install took roughly half hour, went on smoothly! Step swing is ok, gets you up to look in engine bay but not usefull to reach towards back, I purchased it more for the look of it! Love it and gets compliments. Best price I found was right here on Amazon including the truck specific brackets!

You really have to read thru the directions to better understand how to install the bar. You should also get under the truck and look around to see where this will be installed. I say this because the directions provided are , well, not great and should come with clear images. That said, once installed this bar is really cool and when using the step, is strong enough to hold me 225lbs and not leave me feeling like a might fall off! Very strong! The only downside to this is you have to contact the company to get the brackets to install the bar. They were friendly, easy to work with and got the brackets out asap. They did not cost much either and was around $35..

Seems good and solid, no directions with product. Figured it out and took about an hour to install. Looks good on my 2014 F150.

Installation instructions are poorly written and incomplete. Had to use a hole saw to access the tow hook 15mm bolts. Had to add 4 flat washers, came with 4, 8 needed. Once the two hooks and boot were removed, installation went well. I like the fact that it is made from aluminum. I am disappointed that I had to buy the steel brackets for my 2018 F150 on ebay.

Great looking Grille guard and seems to be very sturdy step. I love that you can still have tow hooks with it. Just wish when you buy the grille guard it came with the mounts for your truck instead of ordering separate. That’s the only reason I gave it a 4 star. Great kit easy to install only took me a little over a hour to install with just basic hand tools (my help was my two kids 12 & 14 that kept disappearing when I needed help). If I had to install another and had access to air/electric tools and a adult to stay and help probably could install in half that time.
