a good value but....
All in all, I consider this sprayer a good value. Unfortunately the assembly wasn't that straightforward. First of all the 5/16"x3/4" bolts for the spray boom bracket are about 1/8" too short to engage the female threads in the tank inserts. I had to go to the hardware store to purchase 1" bolts which were the perfect size. Second, the wiring harness was not to my liking. It was functional but awkward to use IMHO. The inline switch was closer to the tank end of the harness rather than the power source end meaning you have to reach behind you while you're driving the mower to switch the pump on or off. Also (not really Chapin's fault) simply clipping the harness to the battery means that you have a cable in the way whenever you get on and off the mower if you switch from using the wand to the boom (you have to mechanically turn the boom valve on or off). I installed a power point socket on the rear of my mower with a toggle switch on the dash to control the pump and constructed a new harness accordingly. Finally, what's with the 7.5 amp fuse in the harness??? The motor is rated at 10 amps. As I expected, when I first tested the sprayer (with the included wire harness) the fuse blew within 60 seconds. When I replaced the wire harness, I used an inline 10 amp fuse. The motor can draw about 10 amps initially on startup but quickly settles down to about 7 or 8 amps for normal operation. It needs a 10 amp fuse. I also added a couple of inline plastic ball valves on the boom lines so that I could spray only one side if needed (like the edge of a driveway). Summary: for the price it works well as a sprayer with the boom spraying about a 10' wide swath. The wand is good quality and can shoot a stream a good 25' or so if needed. I would recommend this to anyone on a budget with a bad back that can no longer use a back mounted sprayer (like me!)

The instructions could be better, but it’s not too hard to figure out
I’ve only used it one time (3 loads) to spray about 2 acres. It preformed well as you would expect something new to do.The instructions could be better, but it’s not too hard to figure out. When it arrived it looked like it had rolled around in the back of the truck most of the way here. The box had two holes in it I could slide my hand in so I was expecting missing parts. Well the frame rail was missing. The service dept got one to me in 2 days which was faster than I expected.I took some advice from other post and used larger bolts to mount the components to the frame. Also the wheel bracket has holes for 2 bolts but the frame isn’t drilled for the second one, so I drilled it out and added the second bolt. Even thou all the frame mounting brackets are plastic they seem to be OK for the 15 gal tank. If they use the same kind of brackets for the 35 gal tank I would question that. The spray bar is a real bitch to get snapped in but I understand, if you hit something with the bar it will pop out rather than break. I added rubber strips to the nozzle brackets so they won’t slip on the bar. I also used zip ties to secure the hose to the spray bar for added support. Be very careful when screwing the gauge in as it would be very easy to cross thread it. As always test it with plain water first and check for leaks & drips and to adjust nozzles.I have not used the hand sprayer yet but it seems to of good quality. It would be nice if it had a quick disconnect on the hose for the handle. I may try to mount some kind of brackets on the hood of my mower for easy access. The power cord is just right for my setup as the on/off switch lies right beside me.I may update this at a later date as I have more chances to use it.I would have giving it 5 stars if more of the parts were made of metal rather than plastic.(Quality cost more but is well worth it in the end!!!)At this time I would recommend this product.

Pretty happy with this sprayer.
Pretty happy with this sprayer. I had zero problems with mine. Put it together, filled it up, hooked it to 12v and off I went. The spray gun on it seems well made. Yes its a little heavy, But thats cause its not flimsy fall apart junk. The sprayer is plumbed so you have 3 outputs and one input. Meaning The pump as an intake line that goes down into the rear of the tank to a filter. On the output side it has one line with no valve, that goes to the spray wand. The other two have valves on them. One goes to the 2 nozzel spray bar in the rear. The other goes down into the front of the tank. This great cause you can easy mix the contents in the tank by just opening this valve. Pulls liquid from the rear of the tank goes through the pump then dumps it back down in the front of the tank.Only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is because they misslead you. The trailer isn't really metal. Yes the main bar is a piece of steel square tubing. But the rest of the trailer is plastic, Including where the tires bolt to! Which is the only part that really concerns me. Bolting tires into plastic bracket with a 130 pound sprayer riding on top seems poorly done. I'm sure it will be fine for now. But in a few years I could see this as a failure point.Overall I'm happy with the spayer and Id recommend it. If you require a really rugged well made trailer this one probably isn't for you.

Like the machine but don't like how the wand and hose hangs off the tank. It doesn't wrap very well and it keeps falling off or getting tangled in the wheels. I ended up using twist ties to hold it in place.

Easy Assembly, Drain plug kit was missing
Easy Assembly, Drain plug kit was missing, but I installed a valve on the tank for easy draining and to keep my hands clear of the liquid when draining the tank. I will be installing a hose reel to wrap the wand cable on. Overall a good product so far.

Chaplin Sprayer
Delivered with a flat tire. Had to replace the tube. Assembly instructions are poor however can be figured out with some trial and error. Suites the purpose i require for a small application. Would i purchase again? Probably not.
