Marmite Yeast Extract Original 125g

This item was well packed and arrived quickly. Bottle was sealed and the marmite was fresh. Good size and fair price. A welcome taste of home! Delicious spread on toast or on a sandwich.

This is a great secret ingredient for a pot roast to add extra umami flavor. I don't know if I would spread it on toast, like a crazy Brit...but to each their own...

For me it is an excellent spread on bread. Has a strong taste with healthy ingredients

Love my Marmite!!! Just wish it wasn’t so expensive in the US. Will probably have to give it up now.

I saw a video where Americans tried English foods, and it was 50/50 on the Marmite. I had to try it. Actually, this stuff was tasty. I recommend you spread it very thin on the bread then add more if it agrees with you. It was supposed to have a yeasty taste, but I thought it was mainly just salty. I don't know if I would buy it again because it didn't stand out as a taste thrill, but certainly edible. I felt very English afterward, so I immediately went and bought a Queen Elizabeth solar powered bobblehead figure. There she is, waving and nodding in the window as I eat. Hail, Brittania!

It was either rancid or just tastes terrible.

My wife discovered this old British gem and now uses it in her gravies. Adds a great zest to her dishes.
