Excellent informative horse book that has lots of great information for all ages! My 10 year old son learnt lots from this! Lots of great colourful photos and examples.

An ideal "first book" for anyone thinking about owning a horse for the first time and a good reference book for later. Things that you never even thought about are considered here and highly recommended for just understanding more the horse.

Bought as a birthday present for my daughter who's taken an interest in horses and will be starting college in September. This book literally covers EVERYTHING. From the simple stuff of mounting and dismounting, to the technical stuff of the body of a horse and minor injuries to look for and how to treat them. If you or know someone whos into horses and wants to learn more, this is the book, its clear, concise and has beautiful pictures, its a bible for all horse lovers

incredibly detailed, clear, well written book. i bought this second hand and with only a few minor scuffs in the corners, i couldn’t be more pleased. the book is so interesting and has such a wide variety of content. i would recommend this to anyone interested in horses as well as kids and adults. disclaimer this book is not about riding so if you are look for a book distinctively about riding this might not be what your looking for but on the other hand it’s still a good book to have for anyone who has a horse or is interested in horses. 5/5 from me!
